Payments

Depending on the booked activity, a deposit is to be paid as confirmation of the booking and/or for the registration and access to the PADI eLearning. In case of an online booking the deposit is to be paid immediately. Bookings via email will be paid via bank transfer within the agreed period. The deposit for local bookings, at the dive center, can be paid, at the moment of booking, in cash or by card. You will always receive a confirmation of the booking and deposit. The rest of the payment is to be paid upon arrival at Scuba Legends Dive Center, prior to diving.

In case of cancellation the deposit will be refunded according to our cancellation policy minus eventual costs for bank transfers. If the booking includes an access code to the PADI eLearning platform, the price covering the eLearning is non-refundable from the moment of the initial registration with PADI.

In your own interest, we focus on quality and therefore there is no certification guaranteed because payment is done.

Special offers

All special offers and promotions are subject to Scuba Legends and availability and can be terminated at any time. Online offers must be booked online via our website and paid in advance.

Equipment

The customer is responsible for inspecting the provided/rented equipment (all gear and materials) before use and reporting irregularities or defects to the instructor or employee in charge.

The customer bears the risk of (random) loss, destruction or damage of the equipment, from the moment of the loan to the time of the return of the equipment to Scuba Legends. If the equipment is damaged on return, the customer bears all repair costs, if the equipment can still be repaired. In the event of loss and (even accidental) destruction or damage to the equipment that cannot be repaired, the customer shall reimburse the replacement costs of the equipment.

Medical Condition

Safety is our highest priority. Therefore, any diver must fill in a medical questionnaire prior to any in water activities.

In case any question is answered with a “yes”, medical clearance by a physician is required by Spanish law. Please keep in mind that your honesty is required and particularly important for your and your buddy’s safety, but also for the responsibility of our staff. Should you have any doubts concerning your medical situation or need advice, please contact us.

Students participating in professional courses such as the PADI Divemaster or Instructor course must always prove a medical diving certificate before the course.

Diving insurance

The Spanish law requires every diver to have a personal diving insurance. Please bring proof of your diving insurance prior to diving or contact us to sign up for a policy of our daily or long-term plans.

If you dive regularly, it might be useful to have your own annual insurance. If you already have insurance and would like to participate in technical dives or courses, better check whether technical diving is covered.

In addition to a diving insurance, we also strongly recommend a general travel insurance from your local provider to cover non-diving accidents or illnesses abroad.
