Do you want to try scuba diving in Lanzarote?

The PADI Discover Scuba Diving (DSD) provides an ideal chance to take your first steps into diving. Acting as the initial diving experience, it can be seen as an “All-Inclusive Program“. Your instructor manages all aspects of the process, allowing you to simply breathe and immerse yourself in the underwater world. No previous knowledge is necessary; all you need is to be in good health.

During the initial briefing, the instructor will guide you through the fundamentals of diving, providing the necessary knowledge for your very first underwater experience. Once geared up, we enter the water from the beach, starting in the shallow and protected area of Playa Chica. Here, we familiarize ourselves with the equipment on the surface before gradually descending, practicing basic diving skills in the shallow water to ease into the underwater environment. Once you feel confident, we embark on your first real dive, with the option (but not requirement) to reach a maximum depth of 6m/12m.

We want you to have the authentic experience of feeling free like a fish and to enjoy your dive consciously and confidently. Playa Chica, located in Puerto del Carmen, is the best dive spot in Lanzarote. Playa Chica offers easy entrances walking into the water from the beach or down the stairs. Imagine a shallow plateau that spreads into a huge underwater mountain with plenty of different dive routes for all experience levels. The protected bay charms with a safe environment where you can marvel at hundreds of colourful fish and various underwater creatures. It’s almost like an aquarium.

• Previous experience is not required
• We will dive from the beach in Playa Chica (Puerto del Carmen)
• To bring: swim wear, towel, sunglasses, sun protection, changing clothes
• No flying for 12 hours after one dive (18 hours after two dives)
• Recommended to book in advance

• Start time: 8:15/10:45/12:30 (depending on the season, option, language & availability)
