We have now opened the application process for passionate divers, to join our Divemaster Internship Program. You should be comfortable communicating in English and preferably in one additional language (ESP/FR/GER/IT). For the right candidates future instructor internship and employment options are available (subject to availability).
Scuba Legends is a small international Dive Center in Lanzarote, Canary Islands, Spain. We are located in the center of Puerto del Carmen, surrounded by beaches, bars, supermarkets and shops. Lanzarote is the busiest diving destination of the Canary Islands and offers plenty of dive sites with stunning underwater landscapes and marine life.

The Divemaster training is the fundamental base of every future dive professional. At Scuba Legends we take your training & education serious and plan an individual schedule based on your experience level. You will truly earn your certification and learn far beyond the book.
Worried you will be cleaning and filling tanks all day? No worries, not with Scuba Legends! Your training will combine diving & skill training, theory classes, workshops and supervised guiding as well as assisting in courses of all levels. We challenge you to become the best version of yourself through detailed debriefings and repetition.
Become a confident diver & buoyancy expert, learn how to take care of divers, how to evaluate the risks of diving and how to make safe & responsible decisions according to PADI Standards. Work alongside our experienced staff and learn from the best whilst enjoying incredible dive sites and loads of marine life! During the internship you will be part of our team.
- The Divemaster Training covers the following topics
- Supervising dive activities and assisting with student divers
- Diver safety and risk management
- Divemaster conducted programs and specialized skills
- Business of diving and your career
- Awareness of the dive environment
- Dive setup and management
- Conducting dive briefings
- Conducting a scuba review and skin diver course
- Assisting with Discover Scuba Diving and leading Discover Local Diving programs
You will have fun training sessions with your team mates. The biggest part of your education is happening underwater, so get ready for lots of DIVING! The dive sites here in Lanzarote offer an amazing variety and loads of marine life.
Our staff is open minded and highly interested in teaching and sharing their knowledge. We love to dive and to talk about diving! You will make incredible experiences, improve your diving as well as personal skills, meet new people & cultures and live the dream. PREREQUISITES
- +18 years
- 40 logged dives
- Rescue Diver (options for lower certification levels on request)
- Medical statement “fit to dive”
- First aid and CPR certification within the last 24 months
- EU Passport
- Own diving equipment or be willing to rent/purchase at discounted price
- Be comfortable communicating in English and preferably one more language (ESP/GER/FR/IT).
- European driving license
