Diving in currents can be both, exciting and relaxing at the same time. All you must do is learn to position yourself and move accordingly to take advantage of the stream of the sea.

Puerto del Carmen is the perfect place to participate in this course and exercises. Depending on the dive site, we will find a stronger or weaker current.

What does the PADI Specialty Drift Diver include?

Your instructor will teach you about the special equipment and procedures for diving in currents. You will also learn the basics of how currents are caused and how they are affected.

In addition, you will practice the skills and routines to stay together with your buddy or group, communicate and master strong currents efficiently.

We will do two drift dives to practice dealing with currents.
